- This first photo shows a typical "Sump Top" application
- This second photo shows a typical "Sump Side" applications. This is the most popular.

- With a custom belt length and weighted ring, floor grating applications can be accomplished too.
- In cases where there is little head room for a gravity separation pail system, the Variaxe "Clamp On" Skimmer can be used.
- They can also be attached to wood base and put into small areas, like you find in some lathe application. In that case either a 3/4" hose or PVC pipe can be used to ramp oil out to a conventional collection pail.
More Skimming Applications
- Can be used on recycling tanks with bulkhead and valve for easy drain into waste container on the floor. No need to even go up to the skimmer.
- Can convert larger container into a gravity displacement tank when high volume collection is necessary.
- Can skim tramp oil from 55 gallon drums when waste coolant is to be sent out to be disposed of.
- The pivot extension will access oil through the 2" drum bung.
- We recommend you request a special length pivot extension for this purpose to make sure the reach is adequate.
